The next APGAW meeting is scheduled for 19th April at the House of Commons and will be on the Law Commission's Wildlife Bill and what that means for conservation, protection and future management. The Law Commission will be attending to explain their Bill. The National Wildlife Crime Unit will also attend to speak about their work fighting wildlife crime both nationally and internationally with the trade in illegal ivory and other animal products. This meeting will cover snaring, poaching, closed seasons, conservation of endangered animals and a wide range of other issues relating to wildlife and as the Bill will make its way through Parliament over the next year it will be of particular importance to understand its implications.
